Unlimited Earnings & Deduction Types

Our Web based payroll solutions can allocate deductions in the format that you are most familiar with. Your company’s divisions/departments may have specific or unique names and you want to give a deduction that unique name, not an issue.

So you need to track the deduction and prioritize it over other voluntary deductions? We can set those goals and limits for deductions and tax them, too.

Want to send your 401(k) deferrals to a specific provider? We can separate or combine your deductions and pay. It’s all up to you. There is never an issue and you can call it whatever you like we can set it all up to be direct deposited in any account you like even a third party. Our State-of-the-art Web enabled system has the flexibility for any unique situation.

After your online setup is complete you can do it yourself thru the Human Capital Strategies PayrollPortal™ Say you have an employee that lost a W-2 or you need to change the number of deductions, change of address, turn on or off a deduction. You have the capability to do it yourself, on your own schedule.

Paid Time off Accruals & Reports

At Human Capital Strategies we keep vacation, sick and paid time off on track. First, we’ll set up your company with our advanced software that works for you by input of your parameters for vacation, sick or paid time off. Then we simply add:

  • Accruals – Track how many vacation, sick and personal days each employee has earned / received
  • Allotments – Track how many vacation, sick and personal days each employee has used or can roll over, based on the allotment given for a specific time period
  • Earned and taken amounts of vacation, sick and personal days can be printed on pay stubs and online or not show at all
  • Reports can be broken down to show departments / divisions / specific individuals etc.

In addition unused vacation can be reported to you for each pay period, to use for your accounting liabilities. Or, simply do it yourself with our Online Solutions: Choose the employee, input the available balance or accrual amount, and define goals, schedule accrual changes all online.

Garnishments

At Human Capital Strategies we navigate through requirements for making employee garnishments. Whether it’s child support or a wage assignment, these sensitive issues require a professional to calculate the garnishment, execute the withholding and payment remittance. General Ledger Report

With our Automatic General Ledger Reporting function you’ll benefit from improved effeciency as you receive a detailed General Ledger report coded specifically with your GL account names/numbers. This clean and simple report improves accuracy by eliminating sorting thru multiple reports in order to properly account for all financial details involved with payroll. Best of all, you maintain complete control of the data – eliminating confusion and errors that third-party involvement causes in applying payroll data to the general ledger.

Additionally, your Automatic General Ledger Report (as with all your other payroll reports) can be sent directly to your accountant or CPA as well to simplify the process even further.

Certified Payrolls

Weekly payrolls are sometimes called certified payrolls because each payroll is signed and contains language certifying that the information is true and correct. At Human Capital Strategies the payroll certification language is always included with this type of payroll report.

Davis Bacon

The Davis-Bacon Actrequires the payment of “prevailing wage rates” (determined by the US Department of Labor) to all laborers and mechanics on Federal construction projects in excess of $2000.00. Pre Process

At Human Capital Strategies our pre-payroll calculations allow you to see what net pay is before you send your payroll information. Just enter your payroll, press “Pre-Process” and view a report of all earnings and deductions for each employee. Year-to-date information allows for monitoring tax shut-off or 401(k) contribution limits.
